Birthday/ Beginning of the Road

So, in just a few hours from now, I will be leaving on a bus for Houston, TX for the ATF this weekends. I just wanted to recap some things that have been happening on my birthday and also during the week.

My Birthday, January 17th, a great day in the end. The beginning of my birthday was ok, I was a little disappointed and also homesick during my birthday. The main reason, my twin sister, we were turning 20 together, and this would be our second time not together for our birthday. I really miss her a lot. So as the day went on it got better. My friends did not plan anything that i knew of, or told me anything that was happening so i had basically the whole day free. One of my friends was going to this thing in Tyler, TX, about 45 mins away, called Burn 24. Burn 24 in 24 hours of non-stop intercessory prayer and worship. So i decided to go an attend it, since there was nothing happening. What better way to spend your birthday than with Jesus for about 5-6 hours. After Burn 24 i felt so great. It was so awesome to just spend time with him, and on the day i was born into this world. After we came back, my friends took me out to Dairy Queen to just hangout, it was a lot of fun and had soo many good laughs.

The Beginning of the Road.

So less than 12 hours away i will be on my way to Houston, TX. The feeling is so exciting! I can't wait until we are there. God has been laying on my heart to be praying for Houston, I know he is going to show up in a great way. So i found out that me and James, my partner, will be basically running the whole event. We are Head Ushers and Security, which is going to be really cool. I have been an Usher Captin before so its going to be so great to do it again. I just can't wait to see what God is going to be doing this weekend. Right now i believe that the total registered people is over 4,000. God is going to totally show up. Well i have to go pack now, so please be praying for my team and Houston, TX to see God move.
